Item Description
In a career spanning nearly 50 years, Jules Fisher is one of the most prolific Broadway lighting designers. He has worked with some of the biggest names on Broadway, including Bob Fosse, Richard Rodgers, Stephen Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Webber. Fisher has been a Tony Award nominee 25 times, first winning this Tony in 1973 for Pippin. Ultimately he's taken home the top honor an impressive nine times. The winner of this lot will also take home Fisher’s Tony nomination certificate.
Pippin first opened on Broadway on October 23, 1972, and took home five Tony Awards, including this one for Best Lighting Design. The show ran for 1,944 performances before closing on June 12, 1977.
