Item Description
After 18 months of the COVID pandemic, the musical phrase "Human Again" from Beauty and the Beast carries a whole new meaning. The song was originally written to express the joy and excitement characters feel about being released from the curse set upon them by an evil enchantress. It was written for the film but ultimately cut, later to be added to the stage production when it opened on Broadway at the Palace Theatre in 1994. It is now included in all new releases of the film and in productions seen around the world.
This musical phrase was handwritten and signed by composer Alan Menken specifically for this year's auction. Isn't it great to begin to feel "Human Again?"
