Item Description
This item is for 2 (two) - one hour piano or guitar or music production lessons in person OR via Zoom with Ellis Laifer.
These lessons could be for an adult or child, beginner or advanced. It could just be to get your feet wet if you are a beginner, or to have a couple of coaching sessions on pieces you've been working on if you are intermediate or advanced. Or whatever you want to learn!
All you need is the musical instrument. Ellis will provide the music (unless you have something you're already working on). If you choose the Zoom option, then you'd also need an Internet connection with a laptop or tablet.
Background about Ellis Laifer: Ellis is a musician currently residing in Los Angeles, CA where he teaches guitar and piano. When he is not teaching, he is a multi-instrumentalist/producer with alternative R&B trio, Fortuno. He was formally trained in music composition, piano, guitar, and voice at Bowdoin College, where he graduated in 2019. When he is not making music or teaching, you can probably find Ellis playing chess, rock climbing, or in the kitchen making smoothies.
Special thanks to Ellis Laifer for supporting La Ballona Elementary!
Item Special Note
If the lessons are in-person, then they must be within Culver City or within a 5-mile radius of La Ballona Elementary School. If via Zoom they can of course take place anywhere.
The winning bidder will be put in touch with Ellis Laifer after the end of the auction.
