Item Description
Add a touch of Africa to your table with these unique serving tongs.
- Hand-carved from olive wood with an unusual wave-design handle.
- Decorative black and white insets made from polished animal horn or bone.
- Dimensions in inches: 13.5 (L), bowl 3.5 (W).
CARE: Hand wash, dry immediately. Rub with a little olive oil to keep the richness of the grain.
This item is named for a Village of Love member, Wilmena Nangeri, who has used her micro-loan to diversify her business, thus providing very well for her children. She can now afford hydro so her 9 children can do their homework in the evenings, a TV so that they do not face the dangers of Kibera streets when they have completed their homework, and she has bought a second dwelling so that her children have enough space to sleep!
