Item Description
Add a touch of Africa to your table with these traditional style serving tongs.
- 13 inches long,
- olive wood with lovely grain,
- black and white inset on handle, made from polished animal bone or horn.
These tongs are named for Yasmin, one of the orphaned girls in Village of Love who is receiving an education through her adoptive mother’s involvement in Village of Love. As a girl, in her traditional community, Yasmin would not have had the chance to go to school. She would be married by now (age 18), undergone FGM (female genital mutilation) and have 3 or 4 children!
