Talaysay's Talking Trees -- Porpoise Bay Provincial Park -- Walking Tour Tour Description: Each plant, each tree has its own special story. Explore Sechelt's iconic Porpoise Bay with a local Indigenous guide - cultural ambassador who will highlight how the local trees and plants of the Pacific Northwest are harvested by our people for food, medicine and technology. Our guides will share with you the rich cultural stories and our ecological practices, our history, stories, legends and Indigenous ways of living. Talking Trees Walking Tour is approximately 1.2 km and we walk at a leisurely pace with frequent stops to explore and discuss. What to wear/bring: good walking shoes. Wear layers with the changing seasons. Sunglasses, sunscreen and hats in the warm weather are recommended. Umbrellas if raining. The winning bidder must contact Candace Campo using the contact information below to arrange the time and date of the tour.
