Item Description

 

Head to Shambhala Mountain Center in 2022 and partake of one of the monthly two-day Retreat & Renewal retreats. They allow time to walk the land, visit the Stupa, and follow the spontaneous callings of your spirit. Meet other participants over tasty meals (vegetarian options provided.) Join in some or all of the scheduled activities: meditation (with instruction), yoga, a tour of the Great Stupa, and evening activities.

The schedule is yours to consider, all sessions are optional:

Friday

2-5 pm: Participants arrive

6 pm: Dinner, time to meet informally

7 pm: Meet in meeting space for orientation, and introduction of teachers

Saturday

7:30-8:30 am: Breakfast

9-10:15 am: Yoga

10:45 am-12 pm: Meditation

12:30-1:30 Lunch

2 pm: Walk to the Great Stupa

4:30-5:30 pm: Yoga

6-7 pm: Dinner

7:30 pm: Optional evening event

Sunday

7:30-8:30 am: Breakfast

8:15-9:15 am: Hike with Land Steward

9:30 am-10:45 am: Yoga

11-12 pm: Meditation

12:30-1:30 pm: Lunch

Shambhala Mountain Center is a mountain valley retreat located on 600 acres in northern Colorado. Since 1971 the Center has offered hundreds of programs on Buddhist meditation, yoga, and other contemplative disciplines. Tamed by 50 years of use as a contemplative retreat, Shambhala Mountain Center is a place where one of the basic truths of Buddhism-that people can be profoundly open to the wisdom of the present moment-is always readily available.

There will be approximately one R&R scheduled per month from which to choose.

Includes tuition, meals and accommodation, lodge single room, full bed, with private bath.

Visit to be scheduled during 2022 calendar year.
