Make your way to the visually stunning Won Dharma Center in the Hudson Valley, New York state, for a two- or three-night retreat for yourself and a guest in 2022.
Two guests will attend a Won Dharma Center Residential Retreat Program. Each attendee will be in their own Single Room. Meals are included. The guests are welcome any time between January 1 and December 31, 2022, with the exception of the Summer/Winter Won Moving Meditation Retreat. This item may be used for a two-night stay if the successful bidder prefers.
The Center, situated on a beautiful 426-acre property, is surrounded by wooded foothills and a brook. With many spiritual programs freely open to the public, it offers an ideal environment for personal retreat and renewal. All the buildings on the property, which gently slopes toward the west, offer magnificent, breath-taking views of the Hudson Valley and the Catskill Mountains.
The design concept for the buildings evokes both the tradition of grass-roofed houses in Korea and a natural disposition of groups of trees placed along the grassy slope. Visitors walk between and among the buildings as if walking between and through clusters of trees, while the discovery of the inner courtyards creates a sense of surprise and quiet calmness appropriate for a spiritual retreat.
Won Dharma Center is an Open Circle of teachers and students, neighbors and visitors, young and old, from any faith to no faith. They gather to make their commitment to reduce and eliminate suffering in the world and to provide a safe and eco-friendly space for nurturing holistic well-being and spiritual growth.
