Dated 1999, Ken Schmidt limited edition acrylic on stone live edge painting of a trapper in a birch bark canoe.
Ken Schmidt is a full-time artist from upstate New York. Working mainly in watercolors and pencil, Ken has developed his own unique style portraying the Native American, the mountain man, and the cowboy. Ken travels the country photographing live models and scenery which he uses as the subjects and settings for his paintings and drawings.
