Item Special Note

From the artist:

Live-edge Tree Slab Stool, with a slice of Ammonite Fossil shells embedded in the center.

These fossil shells are from a period of 66 to 450 million years ago.  Ammonites are mostly found as single speciments, but some like this sample have been petrified into groups that can not be seperated so they are sliced into slabs.

This stool has 4 layers of Epoxy Resin on the top surface, plus 2 deep pours in the center that go through to the bottom that you can partially see through.

This tree slab is thin so it is not made to hold heavy weights.  This stool is for light weight objects and decor use.

Epoxy is a self-healing resin that if marked, it will almost always heal itself and leave no permanent mark.  Expoxy is not meant for outdoor use.  It will yellow in time and that can not be fixed.

The retail prices for the average Epoxy Tree Slab item starts around $350 for a basic piece with no extras.

Other pieces like this one start at around $650 and can go up to $1,000 or more.  Coffee table prices can range from $4,000 and up, and can even reach $20,000.

Each piece of live-edge tree furniture is unique and one-of-a-kind.  No two are ever the same.
