The successful bidder for this item will receive Laura Santi's "Buddha Wisdom, Shakti Power" 50-card deck Tibetan & Hindu Deity divination cards. Says Laura, "It's like Asian Tarot!"
This 50-card divination deck contains a bit of the vast and diverse pantheon of the Buddhist and Hindu world of deities. Bodhisattvas, mandalas, demons gods and historical figures, the famous and the humble - they're all here. It's a microcosm of the world at large, and a sort of "Buddhism 101", Cliff's notes study of the basics, with a little Hinduism for spice, from Laura's thangka art painted over the last 15 years.
Much of the imagery of the cards comes from what Buddhist practitioners through the ages have seen and felt after entering into deep meditation states, and through intense visualization after learning the minutia of elaborate, detailed Puja (prayer) practice.

Ms. Santi paints traditional style thangkas, the spiritual art of Buddhism that depicts the gods and goddesses of its various traditions, and the gods and goddesses as they appear in the Hindu spiritual traditions. She also practices Trika Yoga meditation and Chod healing practices from the Nyingma order of Buddhism.
