What are Swedish Dish Cloths? Invented by a Swedish engineer in 1949, Swedish Dish Cloths are reusable, biodegradable, and ultra-affordable, not to mention highly effective. Swedish Dish Cloths are comprised of renewable and natural fibers (70% cellulose and 30% cotton) so they air-dry much more quickly than the stinky sponges that we Americans grew up using. Because of this, germs and bacteria (and their accompanying odors) do not have time to grow on them -- and if the Cloths do start smelling gross, simply toss them in the dishwasher or washing machine and they'll be good as new. You can reuse each individual Cloth hundreds of times before throwing it out, and fear not -- they will not sit in a landfill because they are biodegradable, too.
