Item Description
Chris Helzer (father of LC alumna Anna Helzer) is The Nature Conservancy’s Director of Science in Nebraska. He works to raise awareness about the value of prairies and prairie conservation through his photography, writing, and presentations.
Chris has published two books, a decade of blog posts at The Prairie Ecologist, and many photos and articles in NEBRASKAland magazine and Wildflower magazine, among other publications. His work is currently featured in an exhibit called Hidden Prairie at Morrill Hall.
