Item Description
San Francisco Giants 3rd baseman Evan Longoria autographed baseball donated by the San Francisco Giants baseball club.
It was a scoreless contest Monday night in Game 3 of the National League Division Series between the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers, until Evan Longoria came to the plate in the top of the fifth inning. The Giants' third baseman stroked a fastball from Dodgers starter Max Scherzer over the left field wall for the first run of the game.
Longoria was named the 2008 American League Rookie of the Year. He has made the All-Star team three times, being selected from 2008 to 2010 and is known for his acrobatic defense, having won three Gold Glove Awards at third base, in 2009, 2010, and 2017.
