From Amazon:
"There are only so many 'bads' in one day," Green would say to herself in a very positive way after crashing into a tree. "And one has already happened. So the rest of the day will be perfect." Green has all the reason in the world not to be positive. She is a homeless fairy, living in a Fairy Shelter. She wanted what all of us want, a home of her own and the ability to take care of herself.

What readers say:
"This book is a delightful and imaginative way to introduce kids to environmental stewardship. Its important message is delivered in a simple and magical narrative and fun illustrations. Love it."
"What a refreshing book! It combines the fairy world with the child's world beautifully. "Green" is a wonderful character who I think many us, children and adults, can relate to. I loved the illustrations, showing her in an adorably scrappy way. I think it's the conflict she feels inside that really got to me. Life isn't easy, but we all can try to make the most of."
"The unemployed fairy finds her true calling as the green fairy giving tips on how to recycle, re use, and be kind to the environment. The author is a teacher and knows how to engage her readers {or listeners) with text that is fast paced and engaging. The illustrations are lovely. This would be a welcome addition to any children's home library."
