The artist, Sonoma County local J.T. O'Neill, has been a widely respected educator and school counselor for over 30 years. She is drawn to expressing her intuitive observations of the world around her through her dynamic artwork. O’Neill’s energetic abstract images are characterized by vibrant color and her own unique vision.
J.T. O'Neil moved with her husband to Sonoma County in 1985. They loved the natural resources that are available and the social attitudes that are evident in local communities. The family's commitment to community remains strong. Husband Mike is a retired teacher and a docent for Armstrong Woods. Son Alex is a firefighter and environmental videographer. Daughter Megan is a teacher. In 2020, the family welcomed the first of the next generation, grandaughter Rory Martens.
