Item Description
A 2-3 hour herpetology field trip to the Green Mountain National Forest, or a herpetological survey of your property. Learn about the reptiles and amphibians living around you. Could be an educational outing for a group of up to 10 children or adults, or a quick survey of your property (as long as it includes some woods and waters). Timing would be May through September.
Led by renowned herpetologist and wildlife biologist Jim Andrews, chair of the Reptile and Amphibian Scientific Advisory Group to the Vermont Endangered Species Committee, coordinator of the Vermont Reptile and Amphibian Atlas, and research and teaching associate with Vermont Family Forests.
