Item Description
Bid for an early 20th Century French print, Les Vins De Bourgogne De Henri De Bahezre, by Guy Arnoux.
We are loving this vintage wine poster from c1925! This original lithograph, Les Vins de Bourgogne, was designed by Guy Arnoux. Burgundy, or Bourgogne in its native French, refers to wine produced in the Burgundy region of eastern France.
In this image, we see a pristine French cavalier smoking a pipe and gleefully observing his pour of delicious red wine. He is cascaded in grape arbors and sitting atop a barrel of tasty vino. The pops of crimson mixed with the rejuvenating teal accents of the militant coat allow for this royalist to be the focal point of the graphic. This gorgeous vintage poster will be a radiating focal point for your home or kitchen. Art signed in plate on the left corner just below the graphic.
