Item Description

Uzbekistan is one of the central Asian countries on the silk road. It is a fascinating, vibrant and culture-rich country with much that can easily be seen in Tashkent and the silk road towns to the east.

David Jacobs and Annie Sproston invite you to stay in their home in Tashkent, Uzbekistan for 5 days.

"We live in a comfortable one-story house with 2 cats and a tortoise who wanders our shady garden. We live very close to one of the major canals in Tashkent where you can walk (or run) and explore some of the city. We are also close to a number of art galleries, bazaars, parks and many cafes, bars and restaurants.

You can be with us for 5 consecutive days or between exploration of other places in Uzbekistan.

During your stay with us we will provide a room and breakfast.

We will enjoy a traditional Uzbek meal at a local restaurant with you (should you want this) and can offer guidance on sights to see and getting around Tashkent.

We have already visited numerous popular sights around Uzbekistan and can offer some guidance on how to get to and explore the Aral sea, Nukus, Kiva, Buhara, Samarkand, Fergana Valley, the local mountains, wineries, and other sights. We would be happy to work with you before arrival to set up a plan for your trip."

For two people (the guest room has a double sofa bed). The available times in include February 1st through June 15th and September 1st through December 15th 2022.

Travel arrangements and expenses are not included, but David and Annie would be happy to pick you up from the Tashkent Airport when you arrive.
