Item Description
Board the 42 ft, 2001 Catalina tri cabin sailboat Charis on Kent Island Maryland and sail to one of the nation's premier waterfront destinations, Annapolis Maryland. The cruise would be limited to two crew. Each crew would have their private cabin. The boat is equipped with three cabins, two heads, a complete galley and a full array of current navigation instrumentation. The captain is a USCG credentialed mariner and has been sailing the Chesapeake for over 40 years.
If you have always wanted to experience sailing and living on board, this two day cruise would be that perfect opportunity. You can adjust your participation in running the boat to your comfort level and sailing experience. Departure would be at 9:00 AM. The sail to Annapolis is approximately four hours and we would anchor for the night in Annapolis harbor. The historic town and capital of Maryland, along with the US Naval Academy, are yours to explore and enjoy. Dinner would be ashore at the eating establishment of your choice. We would head back to Kent Island late the next morning arriving late afternoon. Two lunches and a breakfast are provided along with drinks and snacks. This two day cruise should be scheduled during June or July. The cruise can be scheduled weekdays or weekends based on a mutually agreed upon date and back up dates are suggested in case of inclement weather.
This two day sail can be customised to your preferences and this can be discussed along with specific details related to the cruise when dates are selected. Donated by Captain Dave of Kent Island, MD.
