Item Description
The winning bidder will receive one 8" by 12" (or one 8" by 10", depending on the aspect ratio of the selected image) metal print of the image of their choice to be selected from the four images displayed here, which are in order the Grotto Waterfall on the Seven Hollows Trail in Petit Jean State Park, Lake Ludwig in Johnson County on a foggy morning, Hawksbill Crag in the Upper Buffalo Wilderness, and Pam's Grotto and Waterfall in the Ozark National Forest. A monochrome rendering distills a scene into its essence of form, texture, and shades of light and dark, without the distraction of wild splashes of color. A special scene in black and white can have a concentrated and cohesive visual impact, and can assume a timeless and ethereal quality by breaking the strict constraints of the real world of color.
Item Special Note
You are bidding on ONE PRINT to be chosen from the four images displayed here. To view a larger version of a photo, first click on it to make it the top photo (unless it is already the top photo), then click on it again to open a window containing the larger version. You may have to drag a corner of the window in order to reveal the entire photo. My apologies for the clunkiness of the presentation, but that's the best this online auction software can do. The metal print will be printed using a dye-sublimation process on a 1/16" aluminum sheet and will come mounted with a float mount ready to hang. Print will be shipped directly to the winning bidder, who will be contacted by seller to obtain buyer's print choice and destination address.
