- 2016 Barbera 

Barbera is a red Italian wine grape variety that, as of 2000, was the thurd-most planted red grape variety in Italy. It is known for its deep color, full body, low tannins and high acid levels. The fruit in this offering comes from Estelle Vineyards and offers a very intense aroma of fresh red cherries and blackberries. 86 Points, Silver mEdal - Orange County Fair 2019

- 2017 Sangiovese

The 2017 Sangiovese comes from an offering of only 200 cases. The fruit comes from winemaker Mikael Siguoin who sourced from the Sanger Marinello Vineyards in the Valley.  On the nose you may find a scent of smoked pork ribs with hints of tobacco and oregano. When you present this wine to your taste buds look for flavors of tart cherry, plum and a slight bit of fig. 

- 2016 Nebbiolo 

The word "Nebbiolo" comes from the Italian word "nebbie," meaning fog. It is known for light-colored red wine with high tannins and scents of smoke and roses. The fruit in this offering comes from Estelle Vineyards and offers aromas and flavors of violets, wild herbs, cherries, raspberries and prunes. 

Casa Cassara has been growing grapes since 1992 and making wine in the Santa Rita Hills and Santa Ynez Valley since 1998

SYVCS reserves the right to reassign your item to the next highest bidder if payment is not made or your item is not picked up within two weeks of the close of the auction.
