Item Description

Floating is the most unique experience in the world.  Think about it - when have you ever been completely buoyant effortlessly?  We all have no idea what to expect the first time.

Each experience is unique. Each individual will have stories to tell.  But one thing we all have in common and that is for certain... You Will Float!

Your size does not matter & it is guaranteed that you will float on your back effortlessly.  Other than that, it's important to let go of expectations about what you're "supposed" to feel or experience.  There is really no right or wrong way to float.

BEFORE YOUR FLOAT -
We recommend eating light and easy meals 1-2 hours before your float.  This allows time for digestion before you float.
Avoid caffeine/energy drinks at least a few hours prior to your float so that your mind and body are free to relax
Hydration is incredibly important for an optimal float experience.  Please ensure you are well hydrated before and after your float without over drinking fluids.
Physical activity such as yoga or walking can expend the body’s energy leaving your mind calm and clear. When you put these activities together you will have the potential to create a deeper and more meditative mental state during floatation
If you wear contacts, don’t forget to bring your contact case and solution with you. Take off your contact lenses before your Float. Bring glasses if needed.
Bring a swimsuit if you’d like, but the best experience will be one without any physical distraction. Nude floating is preferred.
Consult your midwife or doctor if pregnant, kidney problems, diabetes, or on antibiotics or muscle relaxants.
We encourage new floaters to try not to have any expectations.  Just let go and let the experience unfold.

We provide towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and earplugs.  Please note you are required to shower both before and after your float.
Feel free to bring your own towel. We do have bath and face towels available.

DO NOT FLOAT....
absolutely NOT ALLOWED IN FLOAT POD! You will not be allowed to Float within 2-3 weeks of New Hair Coloring or Treatment. If you just colored your hair please wait a couple of weeks before floating. The salts can strip your hair of color leaving the water shades of yellows, pinks and browns, etc.  You will be charged for replacement and loss. Please see terms and conditions for more info.
within 2 weeks of any bronzing or spray tanning. 24-48 hours after piercings
with fresh tattoos. Wait for 4 weeks. They will significantly fade.
if you are intoxicated, have epilepsy, or serious mental disorders. Check with your Dr. first.
with open wounds, rashes, large cuts, or infectious respiratory diseases.  Larger cuts or open wounds should be healed before doing a Float.  If you do have a small cut, we provide Vaseline to cover them.
Within 24 hours of freshly shaved or waxed skin. Freshly shaved skin can be sensitive to the Epsom salt in the water and that’s not a feeling we’d want you to feel.  Up to you.
