Item Description
Own a pair of fangs from the largest captive eastern diamondback rattlesnake in the world!
Our education rattlesnake, Edgar, has broken records and made huge impressions with everyone he meets. This big guy weighs almost 20 pounds and is 7' 4" long making him the biggest eastern diamondback rattlesnake ever recorded in captivity! He just turned 20 years old in 2021 and has an extremely calm and relaxed temperament, even when being safely transported. He is also albino, so his diamondback is a stunning cream color instead of the normal black and brown. Edgar was born at The Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens and moved to The Orianne Center for Indigo Conservation in 2015 to stay with his keeper of 20 years!
These fangs were naturally shed and safely collected by experienced keepers. They are beautifully displayed in a small black shadowbox and are labeled with Edgar's name, the common name of his species, and the scientific name. This piece is perfect for any fan of Edgar or venomous snakes in general!
