A Curated, Guided and Personalized Napa Brewery Tasting Tour!

Whether you are a local or just visiting Napa for the day, join Phil* on an afternoon/evening brewery tasting tour for up to FOUR (4) people. The tastings will take place at THREE (3 breweries) in Napa: Trade, Fieldworks and Napa Barrell Project. You'll have the opportunity to personalize your experience by choosing either a tasting panel at each location or simply focusing on a specific style.  

A few specifics about the day...

• On the day of the tour, the winner of this lot will receive $200 in brewery credit (in total, not per brewery) to be used for tastings, flights, pints, or merchandise while at the breweries. Sure, food may be available, but Phil frowns upon using perfectly good brewery credit on food. (Suggestions: eat prior to the event and drink plenty of water. Required: drink responsibly during the tour.)
  
  
• Phil will lead the tasting tour and provide a focus on learning about beer styles and brewing techniques, but we will not be harassing the good folks behind the counters while touring the breweries.  
  
  
• The date of the tour is open, to be determined at a mutually agreeable date/time, and subject to Phil's availability (but, let's be clear, when there is an opportunity to hang out downtown and sample beers Phil, is usually available!).
  
  
• The winner will work with Phil to create a brewery tour course. Transportation between breweries will be via a quick 10-minute walk in the downtown area of Napa. 
  
  
• You will have Phil as your tour guide for at least 3 hours, but the duration of the event is completely up to you!

Phil* = Phil Montalbano is an SBS Parent and a certified beer judge through the BJCP program. He has worked in the beer industry on and off since 1997. While not currently brewing his own beer he does continue to stay active in the community through the constant support of the local beer scene!

Item Special Note

** Bidder & participants must be at least 21 years old.

** Transportation to and from the Curated Napa Brewery Tasting Tour is not provided by the host. Participants will be walking during the tour, please dress accordingly. As always, please drink responsibly.

Winning bidders located in Northern California may pick up their items in Napa at a location and date to be arranged -- details will be emailed to winning bidders. Items not picked up by March 4, 2022 will be mailed to the winning bidder, and purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs.

Items purchased by bidders residing outside of Northern California will be shipped (if possible) on or around Tuesday, February 8, 2022, unless you tell us that you wish to pick up your item. Purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. Please contact us at sbspcauction@gmail.com by February 7 if you plan to pick up your auction winnings.

In the event that an auction item (e.g., a wine-tasting certificate) becomes unusable, please contact the organization offering that item to inquire about extending expiration dates or otherwise honoring the value of the item.
