Item Description

BBQ Reds! A Variety of Red Wines for Whatever You're Grilling

Onward 2021 Mendocino, Nouveau Style Zinfandel, 1 Bottle:
This is the first of the vintage and it is loaded with aromas of red cherry and cranberry that jump out of the glass, followed by fresh cranberry sauce with orange and red currant jelly, with a subtle hint of raw pink peppercorn dancing about. 100% Whole Cluster. This wine is about the young and fresh side of wine. She is exciting, fresh and adventurous, breaking down barriers and bringing people together, brightening the day of all who meet her.

Flinch 2016 Sonoma County, Reserve Zinfandel, 1 Bottle:
Small lots of exceptional fruit from a unique North Coast vineyard. Crafting wonderful wines from grapes that are abundant in FLavor, INtensity and CHaracter.

Nickel + Nickel 2015 Darien Vineyard Russian River Valley Syrah, 1 Bottle:
Tucked into the gently rolling hills of Sonoma's Russian River Valley, Darien Vineyard enjoys a moderate climate and well-drained, loamy soils. The Syrah vines were planted in 2000 and 2001, and benefit from cool, foggy mornings that give way to warm afternoon sun from the southeast, allowing the exposed fruit to ripen evenly. The clusters tend to be fairly long in size and tightly packed. There are two different clones planted in the vineyard, each contributing its own unique flavors to the wine. Nickel & Nickel selects fruit from three-and
three-quarter acres of the 25-acre vineyard.

Quilt Wines 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon, 1 Bottle:
Deep, dark ruby in color with a hint of brick red around the edges.Striking aromas of dark chocolate, blackberry jam, toasted oak and hazelnut with hints of red berry fruit, baking spices and vanilla. Broad and mouth-filling with a satisfying mix of flavors ranging from rich molasses, stewed rhubarb, tobacco and nutmeg that integrate into a long satisfying finish complemented by balanced acidity, and smooth, velvety tannins. Pair with a cowboy-cut, grilled rib eye steak with a pepper sauce; lamb chops with balsamic reduction; or a charcuterie platter with smoked duck breast, dry-cured pork sausage, figs, pecans and sliced apple.
