Item Description
Andria Keen
Resonance
25" x 24" - Acrylic on Wood
Unframed
Resonance was a work painted in reference to the musical track Elaenia by Floating Points. Listening to the push and pull between the static and electric buzz and the light, airy melody made me think of the push-and-pull between what is naturally occurring and humanmade. Humanity creates interference that, when balanced, can still be harmonious with nature. When they are balanced, the space between them is full of beautiful resonance. It was this that I wanted to capture in this abstract work.
