This painting was inspired by the beautiful and fantastic costumes worn at the Carnival Of Venice from one of our trips to beautiful Italy.
About The Artist
A full time professional artist, Layal grew up in the Mediterranean, in a family of artists her father being an accomplished artist he encouraged her to be creative and to use her imagination. She began experimenting with different drawing techniques and later studied art and painting at a local art college, under the mentorship of several accomplished painters. In 2000 she decided to incorporate computer graphics into her techniques and took a one-year course at The International Academy of Design in Toronto and graduated with honours.
Layal's works have been shown in a number of art exhibits throughout her career. She has worked extensively in advertising, creating posters and logos for local and international companies including the implementation of window displays and posters for fashion, interior design and jewelry retailers. Her work has been also published in magazines like Elite wine, food and travel magazine and Canadian House and Home. She became well known for her bold colorful technique in her paintings. Her works can be found in private collections in Canada and Europe, in addition to commissioned works and projects from corporate and residential client. Layal is passionate about art, she shares her love of painting by teaching oil and acrylic workshops.
