Item Description
Enjoy a case of Cabernet Sauvignon from Chaix vineyards!
Chaix Family Vineyards occupy a 40-acre chunk of the world-famous Rutherford bench, a sedimentary deposit of soils known to produce remarkable Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
Over the last 100 years, Chaix grapes have gone into making many of Napa's most distinguished wines.
Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon
A ripe and aromatic red with notes of blackberries and currants, licorice, tobacco leaves and coffee. Full body. An array of chewy tannins and ripe fruit character on the palate. Long, velvety finish. Solid.
The Napa Valley’s Rutherford Bench is renowned worldwide for producing remarkable Cabernet Sauvignons, with earthy aromatics and cocoa-powder-like fine tannins on the palate. The legendary winemaker André Tchelistcheff coined the term “Rutherford Dust” to describe these distinctive characteristics.
