Item Description
Cathedral mom Ayumi Sohn knows her way around excellent Japanese curry! A Japanese curry roux, or kare, as it's known in Japan, is mild and sweet, and is considered an ideal family meal. Ayumi cooks tender pieces of chicken, or made vegetarian with tofu, carrots, onions, and potatoes in a thick stew and serves it atop delicate short-grain rice along with warm miso soup. But wait--there's more! The meal is finished with “Matcha Kasutera,” a signature green tea flavored Japanese sponge cake flown in directly from Minamoto Kitchoan, the famed confectionery based in the Ginza district of Tokyo. Prepared to serve 6-8 people and to be delivered on a mutually agreed upon date.
