Item Description

This one-hour class covers the tying of a handful of some of the most common and useful knots for everyday life. Additionally, it will cover a few slightly less common but still very useful knots which may come in handy in some situations -- especially if you are out camping or need to securely tie down items in or on top of your vehicle. Beyond knot-tying, the class will also cover how to braid 4 or more strands of cord or rope -- flat braids or round braids. The list of knots to be covered includes the overhand knot, the figure-eight knot, the slip knot, the bowline, the alpine butterfly, the sheet bend, the round-turn and two half-hitches, the trucker's hitch, and (if time allows) a few others. All gears provided. Time And Location: Weekends on Diamond Heights of SF. Expiration Date: 08/31/2022

Item Special Note

Bill Brassfield is a SFBC parent, who has been using knots on numerous camping trips and for moving furniture and heavy machinery.
