About the Artist
Janice Kovar is an established visual artist from Dundas, Ontario, who has exhibited her work in numerous exhibitions both individually and collaboratively. Her work reflects themes of memory, fragmentation, and landscape forms. Janice works in an abstract format and often incorporates wood, plaster, fabric, collage, and found recycled materials in her work. She has studied Art and Art History at McMaster University, and holds a Bachelor of Education in Visual Arts. She currently works out of her studio at the Cotton Factory in Hamilton, Ontario.
