Item Description
Visit historic Salem, Massachusetts for a frightfully good time!
See the sights aboard the Salem Trolley with a one-hour narrated tour and same day shuttle service between 14 sites and attractions.
Your first stop is the Peabody Essex Museum, with roots that date to the 1799 founding of the East India Marine Society, an organization of Salem captains and supercargoes who had sailed beyond either the Cape of Good Hope or Cape Horn. The society’s charter included a provision for the establishment of a “cabinet of natural and artificial curiosities,” which is what we today would call a museum.
Next, the Salem Wax Museum boasts a brand-new museum gift shop and the Salem Witch Village specializes in authentic pagan & Wicca supplies and gifts. Each store also carries ships-in-bottles maritime gifts, New England confectioneries, books, curios, and magical gifts. Create your own wax hand and free gravestone rubbing.
Along with the Salem Wax Museum, the Salem Witch Village is located on a dead-end street across from the Peabody Essex Museum and adjacent to the Tricentennial Witch Trials Memorial and The Charter Street Old Burying Point – reputed to be the 2nd oldest burial ground in the country. Interred within are some of the notable of Salem’s History including “The Hanging Judge” John Hathorne.
- A family-level membership at the Peabody Essex Museum
- (2) Adult and (2) child passes aboard the Salem Trolley*
- (4) Salem Hysteria Passes for the Salem Wax Museum and the Salem Witch Village**
Item Special Note
