Item Description
You and up to 4 friends can spend an afternoon in the lovely town of Cicero with Kristina Roque and learn how to plant your own native butterfly garden. Monarch butterfly numbers have been steadily declining for many years now and there are many things we can do to help boost those numbers and help an entire species of butterflies.
During your visit you will learn about the 3,000 - mile yearly migration of the monarch butterfly, different types of milkweed (their host plants), the importance of planting nectar plants, the life cycle of the monarch butterfly and lots of other information to help you become a butterfly whisperer.
Visit will end with a butterfly "starter kit" which will include seeds and a mesh butterfly habitat to get your own garden started.
