Situated on 2,500 acres in beautiful Stowe, Vermont, Trapp Family Lodge is a unique mountain resort featuring Austrian-inspired architecture and European-style accommodations. The Lodge offers stunning mountain views, old-world comforts, and impeccable service, along with activities for every season.

You and your family will stay in one of the Guest Houses: Two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, the second bedroom has two single beds, and the living room has a queen-size sleeper sofa. They will easily accommodate six people. Woodstove with firewood and fire starters provided. You will have access to the entire property; 2,600 acres to explore, and you have use of the cross-country ski and snowshoe trails. Mountain bike and hiking trails are available as well.

Stowe, Vermont is a lovely 200-year-old destination with a quaint downtown area full of shops and restaurants that offer views of the surrounding mountains. Visitors to Stowe can enjoy outdoor recreation year-round, as well as cultural activities and attractions, family fun, and exciting events. The Lodge is just a short 7 minute drive to downtown Stowe, our resort is close to a variety of Stowe and Waterbury attractions like Piecaso, Alchemist Brewery, Stowe Cider, Pinnacle Peak, Smugglers Notch, and Ben & Jerrys Factory.

Feel like doing some shopping during your stay? Stowe, VT offers a variety of shopping opportunities, with more than 45 specialty shops and boutiques selling everything from jewelry to Monterey Jack cheese. Whether you are looking for apparel, fine home furnishings, gifts, or just want to window shop, you will find just what you seek in the village of Stowe.

Trapp Family Lodge amenities offer everything you need for an enjoyable stay in Stowe, Vermont. While we offer all the amenities you would expect when staying at a hotel, such as free Wi-Fi and a fitness center, there are quite a few things at our property that may come as a surprise. For starters, we have our own brewery on site serving a variety of flavorful craft beers. We also have three different and delicious dining options and a wine cellar.
