Item Description
Enjoy a privately catered in-home meal for up to six people featuring foods that are locally foraged or sourced with a focus on sustainable eating with flare! This specially designed menu will highlight the best of what the midwest has to offer in the way of wild foods and seasonal specialties. Your meal will include recipe cards and foraging tips, and lovely Michigan wine delivered straight to your doorstep. Please note dietary restrictions can be accommodated.
Your meal will be foraged and prepared by Michele Hoffman Trotter, Assistant Professor of Science & Sustainability at the School of the Art Institute, and includes the following:
- Charcuterie board with locally sourced fruits,
- cheeses,
- and handcrafted jams
Salad featuring homegrown greens, fiddleheads, and heirloom tomatoes - Wild mushroom and ramp pesto pasta with pine nuts,
- roasted chicken and sun-dried tomato
- Home-baked (from scratch) garlic bread
- Homemade ice cream
