Item Description
Mrs. Massey and Ms. Holly’s lower elementary class studied mountains and different artists, one of whom was Picasso. Picasso’s Cubism style featured intersecting lines to form geometric shapes. This method served as the students’ inspiration while they penciled out their own mountain or mountain range. After drawing, the students used acrylic paint to color the geometric shapes they formed. The art was adhered and sealed to the canvas with Mod Podge. This is a one-of-a-kind piece that showcases the variety of talent, skill and artistry the students have.
