Item Description
The sea glass pieces are of differing sizes and shades of white, brown, green, aqua, and blue.
This sea glass was gathered from the beaches around Martha's Vineyard!
To increase the chances of finding beach glass, head to the beach around low tide. Sometimes the seaweed hides these nuggets.
Beach glass comes from glass bottles of different colors that find their way into oceans around the world. It takes about 30 years for the ocean to roll and soften glass pieces and then they become extraordinary colored pieces of stone.
Clear glass is the most common, as are brown and green. The most prized, rare glass is orange and red.
Artists use beach glass to make art, jewelry, Christmas decorations, and more.
