Item Description
Join us for an afternoon tea and discussion of Louise Erdrich's newest book, The Sentence.
Set in a Minneapolis bookstore (very like Birchbark Books) during the pandemic and the killing of George Floyd, Erdrich works her magic to weave a haunting, sometimes hilarious, deeply moving tale that asks big questions: What do we owe to the living, the dead, to the reader and to the book?
This event will be held at Diane Kolodziej's home: 1114 W. 53rd Street, Minneapolis
(There is a cat in residence.)
Date: November 13, 2022, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
We have room for 8 participants.
$15 per person
