Item Description
In the Eastern Conference, Chicago Bulls third-year point guard Derrick Rose started in his second selection to the All-Star Game, becoming the Bulls' first All-Star starter since Michael Jordan. Rose was averaging 24.6 PPG and 8.1 APG when he beat out the Boston Celtics Rajon Rondo for his first All-Star start.
On May 3, 2011, Derrick became the youngest player in NBA history to win the Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award.
