Item Description
Here is an Old Baltimore View offered by Wedgwood of Etruria and Barlaston in sepia tones on milk-colored china. The Washington Monument is an iconic image of Baltimore and is "drawn from nature" by August Kollner in 1848 from the Purnell Galleries. This depiction was reproduced from an old print in the collection of the Baltimore Federal Savings & Loan Association as shown on the bottom mark. There is an embossed number on the plate. What a wonderful addition to your collection! The plate has no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. It is dinner plate size and measures 10.25 inches in diameter.
