LEARN TO SURF LA HISTORY
Learn to Surf LA has been operating in Los Angeles since 2002. Since then we have taught thousands of students how to surf, generating in our students as much enjoyment of surfing and appreciation for the ocean as possible. We hold the most desirable permits in Venice, Manhattan Beach, and Santa Monica to teach lessons and conduct surf camp and are consistently rated as the top surf school in Los Angeles.

ABOUT OUR SURF CAMP
Our surf camp is a great way for kids to spend the day playing and relaxing while
learning how to handle themselves with confidence in the surf! Surf camp is for all kids ages 6 to 12 and teens aged 13 to 17. We provide an awesome summer experience that will never be forgotten!
Safety is our top priority; all instructors are CPR & First Aid certified and our maximum student to instructor ratio is 4:1 in the water. We provide safe foam surfboards, bodyboards and full length wetsuits, and canopies. Students learn about wave dynamics, ocean safety, currents, side shore currents, paddling out, popping up on a surf board, board handling, turning, wave selection, positioning and maneuvering, surfing etiquette, and more. Other camp activities may include beach volleyball, beach soccer, Nerf touch-football, Nerf dodgeball, Frisbee, body-surfing, swimming, paddling and sand sculpture. We also provide break times to dry off, hydrate, reapply sunscreen, and relax or play.

• Spring Break: March 28 – April 15, Monday through Friday
• Summer Break: June 10 - August 28, Monday through Friday

Scheduling: 9:30am - 12:15pm *Extended care may be available.

Item Special Note

expiration: Valid only for Spring and Summer 2022

restrictions: Only valid for new families whose children have never participated in Learn to Surf LA’s lessons and camps.  Certificates have no cash value, and are only valid for the services outlined, only in the year indicated on the certificate.  If participant has not surfed before, it’s recommended they come on a Monday for basic training. Surf camp is for kids aged 6 to 17.

Items will be available for pick up at Beethoven Street Elementary School (front of the school, near the flagpole) before school on Wednesday, May 25 and Thursday, May 26, 2022 (7:45-8:30am) and after school only on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 (2:15-2:45pm).

On request, items can be mailed to the winning bidder. Bidder is responsible for shipping fees, which will be added to the winning bid amount. Items will be shipped via USPS and billed at standard industry rates.
