Item Description
1905 commemorates when René Lalique met the perfumer François Coty, from Corsica, who studied the art of perfumery in Grasse (Provence). They agreed on one idea: each scent deserved an outstanding bottle, produced at a big scale. Coty creates fragrances, Lalique imagines stickers and then perfume bottles and caps. This is how the modern perfume industry was born. An outstanding woody aromatic accord highlighting thyme, an aromatic herb ingredient blooming in Provence. Also an allusion to François Cotys most famous fragrance, mostly composed of Mediterranean ingredients.
