Item Description
Movie Studio Cards were very popular during the 1920s to the 1960s. When you would write to a studio or celebrity, it was very common to be sent a 5x7 of the celebrity with a facsimile signature.
DESCRIPTION: In this lot are 3 original vintage movie photo cards:
Polly Walker was Miss Coney Island in 1923 and was discovered by George M. Cohan for Broadway musicals. When sound hit, she was in several large musicals between 1929-1932, but stayed with stage and Broadway for musicals.
Ruth Taylor began in films with Mack Sennett as one of his bathing beauties. From 1925-1930 she was in 42 films. In 1930 she married and retired and had one son, screenwriter Buck Henry. She made a final appearance in 1950 on the tv series Trapped.
Mona Rico was a Mexican actress who appeared in 14 films from 1929-1941, most famous as Carmelita in a Zorro film. After suffering facial injuries from a plane crash her career suffered and she retired in 1941.
CONDITION: All 3 are in Very Good to Very Good+ with some slight edge wear and storage curves due to age.
