Movie Studio Cards were very popular during the 1920s to the 1960s. When you would write to a studio or celebrity, it was very common to be sent a 5x7 of the celebrity with a facsimile signature.

DESCRIPTION: In this lot are 3 original vintage movie photo cards:

Betty Furness started as a teenage model with the Powers agency and appeared in secondary roles in 38 movie from 1932-1939 and became a tv spokesperson appearing in another 10 series from 1949 to 1966 and continued her career in consumer affairs.

Lois Moran trained in dance and singing which she performed for several years at the Paris National Opera when Hollwood came calling. Moran was in 36 films from 1924 to 1932 when she went to Broadway. Later she appeared in 3 tv projects.

Alice Gentle made her performing debut in 1908 as an opera singer with the Manhattan Opera Company and performed for many years. At the beginning of sound, Hollywood was desperately searching for performers, Gentle sang in 4 films from 1929 to 1933 ending with Flying Down to Rio and then went back to the opera.

CONDITION: All 3 are in Very Good to Very Good+ with some slight edge wear and storage curves due to age.
