A 30x30" oil and cold wax on canvas abstract painting by a former BASIS Scottsdale parent and professional artist, Barbi Niblick.
"Transmogrified" is the final painting in a four piece Becoming Series that focuses on the process of change, and captures the tranquility, calm, and beautiful results change can bring if we allow it. The Becoming Series was created to capture the evolution of renewal, revitalization and transformation. Each piece is representative of the often chaotic process of change ending with the serenity of a fully-realized, meaningful metamorphosis.
The piece is signed on the side in order to allow the collector to hang the work in whichever way it speaks to them.
About the Artist:
Barbi is an emotive artist using painting as a physical and emotional release. Learning to let go of her perfectionist tendencies, she allows the paint to speak for her. To achieve this, she often paints with her hands because it acts as a conduit to connect the tactile experience to the emotions she feels.
