Item Description

I will teach you my method for consistently preparing yummy healthy made-from-scratch school snacks and hot school lunches for your kindergarten to 8th grade-age child(ren) in no time at all.

In this 3-hour in-person workshop at your place or mine I will share a simple formula to create every-day easy-to-make yet healthy and tasty meals made to be eaten at school.

This is not a cooking class - although we will be learning and practicing some kitchen hacks (and who doesn't need those?) But the emphasis will be on creating a meal plan and understanding the methodology of purchasing, prepping, and producing while enjoying the process and perks of homecooked meals.

The method lends itself to introducing new foods and new tastes at a pace that a child can embrace, It allows you to be creative and productive at the same time. It builds on your child's current preferences.

The only side effect is that you too have a yummy lunch you can take with you to work or eat at home.

I make most meals in a single pot or pan. It takes me about 30 -35 minutes to prepare a snack and make a meal. Roll a fork in a napkin or tie a bundle (Chako San fans will know what I'm talking about) and done.

While the meal is in the making, I'm having my own breakfast and making breakfast.

Although I have not worked in a restaurant or had a restaurant for many years I am a professionally trained chef with Michelin Star credentials and owned a large vegetarian restaurant for many years. (This is where I learned how to introduce carrots to carnivores).

I have made homemade meals for my children. Every Single Morning of Every Single Schoolday for the last 8 years with maybe a handful of days I skipped.
