Artist Statement:
Tammy Picone Nohelty's art consists of mixed media artworks through paintings and photographs. Her mixed media artworks establish a link between reality and realism and that imagined by the artist. By thoughtfully exploring the concept of visual art, Tammy engages the tradition of expressive art into daily practice. Summer Soiree is a playful and whimsical art piece work from Tammy's Angles and Oddities collection. The work embodies an amusing look at summer on the North Shore and portrays the unpredictable happenings of our favorite season.
Artist Biography:
Tammy Picone Nohelty is an Art instructor in the Marblehead Public Schools Fine Arts department. Tammy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Photography from Montserrat College of Art and a Master of Education in Visual Arts from Salem State College and is currently attending Massachusetts College of Art for a Masters of Fine Arts in Mixed Media. Before teaching in the Marblehead Public Schools, Tammy served on Montserrat College of Art staff as Registrar, Coordinator of Special Student Services, and a member of the Continuing Education Faculty. She has taught alternative photographic methods at Montserrat College of Art, the Griffin Museum of Photography, the Marblehead Arts Association, and the young artists' program at Montserrat College of Art. From 1992 to 2011, Tammy was a photography teacher and curriculum director for the Arts at Tower children's summer programs at Tower School in Marblehead.

Item Special Note
Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 9-14 at MacRea's Goods, 108 Washington St, Marblehead during normal store hours. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information on pick-up time and location.
If winning bidder requires shipping, winner's credit card will be charged a separate $24.95 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
Any cod purchased via "Buy Now" will remain on display at the hosting business through the end of the auction, and will be available for pick-up as detailed in the winning bidder notification email.
If winning bidder has not picked up cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
