Item Description
Founded by Larry Hyde in 1979, Hyde Vineyards produces some of the most coveted grapes in Napa Valley. Consisting of over 200 planted acres on several vineyard properties in Carneros, the Hyde family sells fruit to more than 35 different wineries while retaining a small quantity of vines for their estate wine program.
The tasting room is located near the historic vineyard off the Carneros Highway. The estate features a state-of-the-art production facility and an elegant tasting room where guests are welcomed to by-appointment seated tastings of estate-grown wines. The Estate Tasting features five estate-grown wines from the acclaimed Hyde Vineyard and lasts approximately 75 minutes.
You’ll also receive a magnum of Hyde 2013 Chardonnay and a magnum of Hyde 2013 Pinot Noir.
The Chardonnay is characterized by intense citrus and limestone flavors with crisp refreshing acidity and hints of toasted oak and stone fruit. It received 92 points from critics
The Pinot Noir builds intensity and gains depth, from a youthful core of mineral and sage-laced red berry to touches of anise, cedar and red plum, accented by hints of mocha. Rose petal, bright strawberry and cassis flavors with soft lingering tannins. It received 91 points from critics.
