Lisa's passion for clay began after she moved to Sebastopol in 2014.  The porcelain dish on a pedestal is inspired by the tide pool creatures and flowers along the Sonoma coastline.

Lisa studied illustration at the Art Center College of Design in Pasedena, CA, painting and sculpting in Florence, Italy and graduated from UCLA with a degree in environmental studies.  She has designed and illustrated numerous educational posters for teachig botany and natural history, which are used by K-12 schools, universities and the NPS.  Her illustration clients include The Huntington Botanical Gardens, Santa Barbara Botanical Garden, LA Times, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, and the University of California Natural Reserve System.  She taught botanical illustration at the Huntington Botanical Gardens where she worked continuously as a botanical illustrator since 1977.

This item can be mailed to you, you can pick it up (at the Stewards office), or we can deliver it to you (in Sonoma County only).  Winner may select method at the close of the auction. Regular mailing costs or a $20 delivery fee will be charged.

If the item is not picked up by August 14, 2022, it will be mailed to the address provided, and shipping costs will be charged.  If no address has been provided, the sale will be void within 30 days of the auction's closing, the winner may treat their bid as a tax-deductible donation to Stewards, and the item will be resold at a future auction.
